How We Help

Eb Flow Grow sponsors primary school aged children with diverse learning needs to participate in meaningful animal and nature based experiences outside the home and classroom. Working alongside schools, families and allied health professionals, we help create opportunities for children to connect, explore, build confidence and discover new ways to manage the ebb and flow of life.

1. School identifies a child

Schools help identify students who may benefit from a supported animal or nature based experience, drawing on the knowledge of teachers, families and existing support professionals.

2. We fund a suitable experience

Eb Flow Grow sponsors an appropriate animal, farm or nature based experience that sits alongside the support already provided for the child.

3. The experience supports growth

The experience may help a child feel safe, understood and accepted, while supporting confidence, connection, participation and new ways to regulate emotions.

Types of Experiences

Eb Flow Grow sponsors experiences that sit alongside the support already provided by families, teachers and therapists so each child can explore different ways of building relationships and finding their own voice.

Animal Experience

We believe that relationships with animals can create powerful moments of understanding and connection.

Farm Experiences

We support small steps forward and gentle discoveries as children learn new ways of managing the ebb and flow of their world.

We celebrate the simple happiness that comes from being outdoors and discovering something new.

Our Story

Inspired by Ebony

The Eb Flow Grow foundation is inspired by Ebony’s passion for life and her dedication to her career as an Occupational Therapist (OT). Supporting children and families to manage the ebb and flow of life and grow with kindness and connection.

Ebony believed in helping children and families grow through connection, with animals, nature, and each other.

For Schools

Schools play an important role in helping identify students who may benefit from these experiences, drawing on the knowledge of teachers, families and existing support professionals to ensure sponsorship opportunities are appropriate for each child.

For Families

Families can speak with their child’s school or allied health professionals to explore sponsorship opportunities through Eb Flow Grow. The experience aims to positively influence learning, participation and connection within the school environment or within the family unit.

For Providers

We partner with approved animal, farm and nature based providers who share our commitment by shaping experiences that respect a child’s strengths, challenges and needs.
